By accessing or using CareerPivot AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CareerPivot AI provides AI-powered career transition analysis, including:

  • Resume analysis and skill gap identification
  • Salary projections and career transition difficulty assessment
  • Personalized learning roadmaps
  • AI-powered interview practice
  • Career guidance and recommendations

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Providing accurate and complete information

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Plan:

  • Includes one (1) free career gap analysis
  • Limited access to roadmap and interview features

Pro Plans:

  • Monthly ($19/month) and Annual ($149/year) subscriptions renew automatically
  • You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods

Lifetime Plan ($169):

  • One-time payment for permanent access
  • Refundable within 24 hours if no analysis has been run

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise security
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by CareerPivot AI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your uploaded resume and personal data.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate career recommendations, salary projections, and learning roadmaps. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content is for informational purposes only
  • We do not guarantee specific career outcomes or salary increases
  • You should verify important information independently
  • Career decisions are your sole responsibility

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAREERPIVOT AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR CAREER OUTCOMES.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
